There has been published on the legislation.gov.uk website, The Data Reporting Services Regulations 2017 (the Regulations).
These Regulations implement the authorisation requirements and organisational requirements for data reporting services providers (DRSPs) under Title V of MiFID II and provide the FCA with powers to supervise and enforce that regime as required by Title VI of MiFID II, which deals with the enforcement and supervision of the Directive and MiFIR.
The Regulations come into force on 3 January 2018 apart from certain provisions that come into force on 3 July 2017 in order to allow for certain preparatory matters including enabling the FCA to issue guidance and a statement of policy.
